Not every day I do not write my newsletter,
It’s been over two weeks since I wrote anything on Substack. My experience has been just wonders of exploration of the city of Paris for the last weeks. Overall it has been a great experience I had in a while. Compared with the 2019 Berlin, Germany Trip was a two-week trip; Paris was 3 weeks long. Normally I would cover tech in my Substack, but since I was away, I´ll go over and rewatch on YouTube on my favorite highlight on Computex in an upcoming blog-newsletter.
In this newsletter, I go over my experience,
From the first week when I landed at Charles de Gaulle Int’l France, the weather was great it started grey on day one then later in the day there was sun that cleared out the muggy grey clouds.
As many of you may know I live 35 minutes away from Atlanta, Georgia. I live far out from the city unless you drive, the only way you can get into the city is by vehicle, while Atlanta does have a Metro system called the MARTA bus & train system. Frances Rail system blows away Atlanta, it's so much better, I would say the one downfall is there will be train delays; the first-hand experience I had during my time in France was a delay did arise when RATP announced a social movement was gonna cause a delay for anyone coming back home that evening on the Red Line coming back home and from where I was going that evening to Rueil-Malmaison.
Rueil-Malmaison
I’ve stayed off the West of Paris which is 30 minutes away by rail, it was a very cool experience having to see everything come to life in comparison to my small time in McDonough, GA. It's very lively and you have so much going over. For instance, if you need to go to the Pharmacy, you have two pharmacies around the corner under a mile! If need food! you have so many grocery stores to pick up food and get what you need for the week. Not in the mood to cook… then you have restaurants to go to around the corner in Rueil - you do not need to go to the Paris Capital from my experience, as I have been to the capital a few times throughout this trip, I will tell you the restaurant prices is over price! YOU ARE WARN! - so if you are looking to stay outside of Paris I do recommend trying out the restaurants outside of the French Capital.
Week 2
I departed from a Bus Station in Bercy-Paris which was over an 11-hour bus ride to Donostia-San Sebastián, I’m sure many of you will say to yourselves right now, why would I ever take the bus!!! Are you insane?!, The answer will be… Yes! While it was a long day trip coming down to Basque Country, I did get to see a lot on the bus but I will say that things weren’t 100% planned the way I wanted. This is just me… The bus trip from Bercy-Paris Bus Station down to Donostiako Bus Geltokia was much more reliable compared to the Greyhound transit I took last here in the United States. I would go for a BlaBlaCar bus over a Greyhound anytime! (Next time I will go by train instead)
The highlight of the entire trip was Donostia-San Sebastián and throughout the entire trip, I would have loved to have explored Bilbao (because of budget I will have to make my way around Spain next time) I was fortunate enough to see one of my favorite metal bands, Rammstein, and made a new friend throughout this trip the Spanish were just amazing, full of life and energy I had so much time in my hands to explore San Sebastián before leaving for the bus that evening to come back to Paris
For me, I felt very safe going over to Europe when I was walking over the streets in both San Sebastián and Paris, of course just like anywhere you do have to be very, very careful where you go. While in the U.S. there’s so much danger you have to be very, very careful where you go especially at night, while I do not live in the city, I am not a fan of the nightlife in Atlanta, it can be very crazy going out at night when going out on events in Atlanta; I can go on forever about my state and the rest of the United States, I wouldn’t go over in this newsletter. For my subscribers, I’ve only put this video here in my newsletters and close friends! For anyone who knows where to find me, the Substack is where exclusive insides and thoughts on tech, travel, and culture which I’m not afraid to share here.
I do have Instagram to post anything I want; it is just best to keep certain things away from Facebook / Instagram. I love Substack which gives me a voice to speak about topics I can bring to light; There’s too much American propaganda I have to stay away from, not listen to the basis of a certain political bias on both sides.
Playa de La Concha
The Beaches are just gorgeous! love to have a dip in and take a swim, I was like, nah I had all my things with me including my pack bag and red bag I was carrying around the whole time when I left the hostel after day two, I was afraid of leaving my things behind during my swim in the beach lol.
The beach view is phenomenal! if so I would recommend coming to Playa de la Concha plus the view of the mountains next to the beach.
One of the things you can about Spanish greatly is they do not have many worries in mind, they´re very sociable, kind, and lively people to engage with. I told someone I would go over to Spain next year and make that happen! That´s another dream I´m saving that up!
To wrap it up!
I´ll continue with my next newsletter very soon, As much as I can press into details, I’ll continue my story through my blog! As Americans have enjoyed both countries France and Spain. My journey is not over! The next newsletter contains more tech news coming up next! I hope everyone is having a good Sunday so far, have a good day, and stay blessed!
